Important Information for Business Owners Who Spend Money to Advertise Online

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

Do you advertise online? If you pay someone to manage your online advertising, listen up! Google requires that those companies must now reveal to their clients exactly how much of the money is being spent to advertise on Google. This is great news for you, the business owner, because now you can easily compare one company to another.

Up until now, these companies have been collecting large sums of money to maintain an online presence for small companies who don’t have the time to do it themselves. The problem is that these third-party companies had no regulation and they have been pocketing up to 80% of the money and advertising with the rest.

How does your current company stack up?

It isn’t uncommon for me to sit down with someone who has been a long-time client of one of these big conglomerate companies and find out that for the $3000 a month that they’ve been paying, they’ve only been getting $1200 of advertising. They are ecstatic to hear that for that same $3000, we give them $2500 in advertising. It certainly makes the decision easier for them.

What can you do?

Now your current rep probably didn’t call you on February 1, 2011 when this rule went into effect. And he/she probably won’t be too happy when you make the call to ask the question. But that is exactly what you should do – today! Find out the actual amount that is being spent for your Google advertising and then you can compare one company to another and make the best choice. Maybe you already have the best option, but at least you’ll know it after you’ve made the call.

If your provider will not provide this information, you should lodge a complaint with Google – http://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/request.py?contact_type=gap_complaint

By Writing Articles And Strategically Placing keywords Throughout The Article, You Are Doing Your Business A Great Service

Dear Friend,

What is the ideal keyword density? Some believe that 2 to 8 percent is the ideal keywords density for SEO purposes. Other think that 2 percent is optimum and anything higher than this will get the site penalized by Google. 5% keyword density is preferred for search engines such as Yahoo and MSN. However, the question is whether this percentage is really ideal.

Many SEO experts say that you actually need about 10% keyword density. This is the amount that some say is the best for you to use to get the most out of your SEO efforts.

Due to most search engine sites putting more importance on the actual content of the information, rather than keywords used, you should focus on the quality of your articles.

If you do not use the appropriate keywords in your content, it can easily mislead people to come to your site and although this may seem ideal, it is not. When you have people come click on your site and then leave immediately, this is tracked and can cause you more problems.

Due to the misuse of keywords, it has resulted in a lot of keyword abuse. Many people who are looking for a specific product are being misled to the wrong website, which is a waste of their time. Even if you think you are doing better by getting more people to your site, it is a waste of their time and yours if they aren’t going to buy what you have for sale

If a person takes the time to read what you have say, there is a good chance they want something you may have to offer. This means the keywords you use in the article are helpful to lead them to your site. This is the best way to work on SEO efforts and also allow them to be as effective as they can be. Anything else is just a waste of your time.

To your success,

Jason
