The Really Real Reason that Direct Sales and Network Marketing Don’t Earn Income for the Average Person

Certainly, most of us have been curious about the reasons why mlms and direct selling don’t help a lot of people to make money and get out of debt. For whatever reason, it seem like most people who start these companies fail miserably. They get burned time and again. Why is it that this continually happens?

I’m unsure whether or not you’re prepared for total honesty; however, I will address this concern right now. My hope is that certain things written here will resonate with you and you will continue to read and learn for yourself. Draw your own conclusions. Maybe you know what this article will say already/ Maybe you are clueless. Regardless of where you stand, I pray you take right action and remove yourself from people who grumble about the problem and people who take massive action when they see problems.

Let it be immediately clear from the very beginning. MLM is not at fault. Direct sales is not at fault. You didn’t expect me to write that, did you? Well, think about it. Who joins companies? People. Who do people need to enroll so they can make money? People. Well, the majority of people struggle with selfish attitudes. It’s so rare for anyone to care about the ones looking to them for help growing a business to pay bills. Instead of seeing a human being, most people see a paycheck and a means to an end for themselves. This is bad!

Not everyone is this way, but the vast majority of people who start businesses do not know how to run their businesses, and they do not know how to treat others in a way that screams respect for their basic humanity. The problem with network marketing and with direct sales is the individual in the company who does not have basic compassion for others.

When you begin working from home, keep it at the front of your mind that people should always be your first concern. Treat others according to the golden rule and when challenges arise, look first at your own behavior and not at the behavior of others. It is totally possible that your actions have created the problem, and if you can see that, you will be better equipped to help people and not drive them away from you and your business!

Direct selling is a phenomenal sector of the economy. MLM is too! Significant income can be generated in these industries. At issue is the people, not the companies with whom they work. Find good leadership and solve the problem!

Until we start to get a handle on how to interact with the people who are looking to generate more money, network marketing and direct sales will have a bad reputation. In fact, nearly all work from home businesses suffer from a bad reputation. Once the professionals already in the industry do better by new business owners, it will not change.

Once we grow, the reputation will. So, today, I pray that I have helped eliminate a lie that the problem is the business model. It is not. The problems lie within us. Once we treat others the way we would want to be treated, we will start to see a change in the way our business is able to thrive despite negative perceptions.
